So I actually convinced my dad to buy me a corset (as long as I pay him back).

  • Janet: Hey, Dad?
  • Dad: -grunt-
  • Janet: So... I found something that might be able to help me with my back issues, and flatten out my stomach, lots of lovely things.
  • Dad: Yeah? Can it be covered with health insurance?
  • Janet: ... Not quite.
  • Dad: What is it?
  • Janet: It's like...a brace. Kind of.
  • Dad: Okay.
  • Janet: Well. It's a corset. Do you know what that is?
  • Dad: What's that--ohhhh, yeah, girls still wear those, don't they?
  • Janet: Yeah! Well, not like they used to, but yeah!
  • Dad: Alright, just let me know when you've found one you like.
